Owl Pillow

"This is a very easy crochet pattern of a crochet owl. You can use one solid color, or scraps of yarn. Make it a rainbow owl or a cute pink or grey one. Whatever you choose, it will be finished in no-time. I used Paintbox yarn to make this owl, but you can use any yarn you like. Just make sure it's soft and cuddly. Besides the yarn and crochet hook you need fyberfill stuffing, a sewing needle for closing the top of the owl and don't forget to pick a color for the eyes. I used white and black yarn for the eyes."

Easy

Yarn Weight(5) Bulky/Chunky (12-15 stitches for 4 inches)

This is an adorable pattern for a stuffed toy or pillow. If you want a bigger owl you can easily use a larger hook or bulky yarn. It would be so cute for a baby shower, I think it would make a nice gift for any age. It's a good pattern for young children because it has a safe face with no removable parts.

I just love pillows. When I look at them in the stores I am just so shocked at the prices. Then I remember, I can make them myself and make them to fit my needs. This one will work perfectly in the kids playroom.

The designer's web site is a fountain of knowledge and patterns, many of them owls. This pattern is easier than it looks and will work up in no time. I am even going to use some novelty yarn to make it a bit fuzzy. I have a friend who loves owls so I am going to make a few for her as well. Thank you.

I love this pillow! Finally, a crochet project other than a plain scarf that is rated "easy". Now newbies can create something cool and hip to complement their home decor. I simply am stunned that it can be so easy to make, using only single crochets and a few rows of increases toward the bottom. Personalize yours with your decor colors. You're not bound by her color choices. Love!!

I am currently visiting one set of grandchildren and was delighted to discover my youngest granddaughter loves owls as much as I do. This pillow will make the perfect birthday gift for her (as long as its worked in pinks and purples). Shell be turning four next month, so shes still very much into cuddle toys. She has a favorite owl shirt, so Im going to take some inspiration from that as well.
