Length from Sleeve Cuff to Sleeve Cuff: 32 (34, 36, 37, 37)”.
MATERIALS:
RED HEART® Shimmer™ : 2 (3, 4, 4, 5) Balls 1113 Ivory.
Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8].
Stitch markers, yarn needle.
GAUGE: 13 dc = 4”; 9 rows = 4”.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
NOTE: Shrug is worked in two pieces. Each piece begins at edge of Sleeve and is worked to center of Back. Sleeves are worked in continuous rounds. Back is worked back and forth in rows
SHRUG
Left Sleeve
Ch 52 (55, 58, 63, 66), slip st in first ch to join, taking care not to twist sts. Place marker for beginning of round.
Round 1: Ch 2, (counts as hdc here and throughout), hdc in each ch around, slip st in top of beginning ch to join – 52 (55, 58, 63, 66) sts.
Rounds 2-3: Ch 2, hdc in each hdc around, slip st in top of beginning ch.
Round 4: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), dc in each hdc around, slip st in top of beginning ch.
Rounds 5-13: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, slip st in top of beginning ch.
Round 14: Ch 3, dc in next 19 (20, 21, 22, 24) dc, 3 dc in next 12 (13, 14, 15, 16) dc, dc in next 20 (21, 22, 23, 25) dc, slip st in top of beginning ch – 76 (81, 86, 91, 98) sts.
Rounds 15-24 : Ch 3, dc in each dc around, slip st in top of beginning ch
Shape Back
Row 25: Ch 3, dc in next 27 (27, 31, 31, 35) dc, leave remaining sts unworked – 28 (28, 32, 32, 36) dc.
Row 26: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across.
Row 27: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * across to last dc, dc in last dc.
Rows 28-31 (33, 35, 37, 37): Ch 3, turn, *dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next ch-1 space; repeat from * across to last 3 dc, dc in last 3 dc.
Row 32 (34, 36, 38, 38): Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and ch-1 space across, turn – 28 (28, 32, 32, 36) dc.
Rows 33 (35, 37, 39, 39)-36 (38, 40, 42, 42): Ch 3, dc in each dc across.
Fasten off
Right Sleeve
Work as for Right Sleeve until Row 24 has been worked.
Shape Back
Row 25: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 27 (27, 31, 31, 35) dc, leave remaining sts unworked – 28 (28, 32, 32, 36) dc.
Row 26: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across.
Row 27: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * across to last dc, dc in last dc.
Rows 28-31 (33, 35, 37, 37): Ch 3, turn, *dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next ch-1 space; repeat from * across to last 3 dc, dc in last 3 dc.
Row 32 (34, 36, 38, 38): Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and ch-1 space across, turn – 28 (28, 32, 32, 36) dc.
Rows 33 (35, 37, 39, 39)-36 (38, 40, 42, 42): Ch 3, dc in each dc across.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Back Join
Hold last row of Back pieces with right sides together.
Working through both layers, join yarn in first st, ch 1, sc in each st across to join.
Fasten off.
Left Front Bodice
Row 1 (Right Side): Join yarn in first unworked st of Row 24 of Left Sleeve, ch 3, [weave hook from front to back then from back to front in and out of next 5 sts, yo, pull through all sts – 4 sts decreased] 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) times, dc in next 27 (32, 33, 33, 36) sts – 32 (37, 38, 39, 42) sts.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across.
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 3 dc, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next 3 dc, repeat from * to last 0 (1, 2, 3, 4, 2) sts, dc in last 0 (1, 2, 3, 4, 2) sts.
Row 5: Ch 2, turn, hdc in each dc and ch-1 space across.
Fasten off.
Right Front Bodice
Row 1 (Wrong Side): Join yarn in first unworked st of Row 24 of Right Sleeve, ch 3, [weave hook from front to back then from back to front in and out of next 5 sts, yo, pull through all sts – 4 sts decreased] 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) times, dc in next 27 (32, 33, 33, 36) sts – 32 (37, 38, 39, 42) sts.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 3 dc, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next 3 dc, repeat from * to last 0 (1, 2, 3, 4, 2) sts, dc in last 0 (1, 2, 3, 4, 2) sts.
Row 5: Ch 2, turn, hdc in each dc and ch-1 space across.
Fasten off.
Sew edge of Front Bodice to edge of Back, leaving center unsewn for Neck.
Front Edging
With right side facing, join yarn at lower edge of Right Front Bodice, ch 2, hdc in each hdc of Right Front Bodice, work hdc evenly spaced along Back neck edge, hdc in each hdc of Left Front Bodice.
Fasten off.
Sleeve Edging
Round 1: With right side facing and working along opposite edge of foundation ch, join yarn in first ch, ch 2, hdc in each ch around, slip st in top of beginning ch.
Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in next 3 (2, 1, 2, 1) hdc, *skip next hdc, hdc in next 3 hdc, repeat from * across, slip st in top of beginning ch.
Fasten off.
Tie
Ch 160.
Fasten off.
Lace Tie through ch-1 spaces of Front Bodices to close.
Weave in ends.

The lacing on the front takes away from the Look....
