Fatima Lasay

Fatima Lasay is an artist based in Bohol island, Philippines. She learned to crochet as a child and took it up again in 2007 as therapy for depression. That same year she set up Crochetology.net to talk about pattern making. The idea is to get crocheters to develop ways of making their own patterns. Now Fatima specializes in crocheted lace and its various manifestations in jewelry, apparel, and lingerie. Her favourite fibres are yak, camel, silk and cotton.

Greetings again, How could I forget to mention the incredible wood branches piece you are working on in the photo taken of you. It's awesome as well.

Greetings, I am rendered still and silent by the beauty of your work and creations. Exquisite. Truly fine detail, texture(s), design, color, imagination, and craftwomanship. I am a beginner of crochet for two years now, and during my inquisitive and fascinated explorations, seekings, and discoveries of the crochet world, I am being exposed to incredible crocheters of all skills levels. I am Thankful to have discovered you and your work, and that crocheting Uplifted your Spirit. Heavenly Beautiful. I am inspired, and would Love to create with the stitch techniques you have shared. I read that you started/created an online place where crochet people are encouraged to create designs and patterns... I would Love to learn to do so and will definitely go there. Most appreciative of you and a Heartfelt Thank You for Personally Sharing Yourself and Work.
