Dendennis was born in 1976, is happily married and father of a daughter and son. He's the owner of a graphic design agency in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and in his free time he lets his creativity and fantasy run wild! Dendennis created a mini amigurumi version of himself, and his mini Amigurumi is the main figure in all his amigurumi books with several exciting and fun adventures.

He has published 6 Dutch successful amigurumi books, 3 of them are translated to German and he published several amigurumi designs for other books and magazines.
