I find my self looking at bags when I go to any store. Being such a fugal shopper, I really don't like to spend more money on a purse/tote/clutch or whatever you want to call it than I have money to put in it. Projects like this allow me to customize and have as many totes as I see I have the want for. Heaven knows, I already have way more than I can even need.

This tote is a real charmer in the understated tones of lavender and green. The entire project is worked using two strands together, so that makes this delicate looking bag extra sturdy. The handles are worked as part of the bag, too, so theres no worries about one breaking away while youre using the bag. Kudos for finding this one!

This is so pretty! I never would have thought of pairing those colors together, but I like how the combination looks.

From the top to the bottom there is gracious room to put stuff in but there is not much of a bottom for this bag. I think it would be great as a tote for things like a few books or electronics but I know I would soon fill this up at a market. I love the color though.

This tote bag is so pretty. I think if I make one I would use it to hold my works in progress. It looks like it would be the perfect size for any number of small projects, and it would not be too heavy. You could also add lining inside to make it even more durable.

This is an easy and fast making tote bag. You can never have too many of them to use around your home. I make a few when I moved into my new home and now use them to hold those plastic bags from the market, socks and mail.

I HAVE worked with the Caron Cotton Cakes yarn and it is absolutely amazing. It feels like a dream, works like a dream, is stretchy but holds shape (bounces back), and the colorway choices that it comes in are to die for! I like that is bag is constructed with a double strand of the yarn and that the handle is worked right into the piece for durability.

I love tote bags. I have a collection and dont need any more, but can a person really have too may totes? The colors of this one are so pretty and feminine. I see that Caron Cotton Cakes is the yarn used to produce these colors and the patterning of the colors. I have never used a cake yarn of any brand yet. I am still old school I guess LOL.
