Cross Stitch Make-Up Bag Pouch

"I’ve been wanting to try cross stitching on crocheted fabric for a while now. I also thought that maybe you did too so I designed a small project for us to try it out on, a cross stitch make-up bag. This small zippered pouch is perfect for many different uses, but I plan to use it as my new make-up bag. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for adding a zipper to your crochet projects and for the cross stitching."

Two of my favorite hobbies, cross stitch and crochet. This little zippered bag/pouch has a lot of class and would get a lot of use no matter what I decide to use it for. I noticed that is is not lined so I would not want to put anything inside that could/would cause damage to such a pretty piece.

This is such a cute pouch but I would never in a million years use it as a make up pouch without putting some type of lining in it. I love both cross stitch and crochet and this project will give me the opportunity to use them both. Thanks you for sharing this pattern. Did you guys notice the zipper?

Here is something that I have been wanting to delve into but I have been apprehensive because I feel I am lacking the confidence. But this cosmetic bag is so darling I must really put my fears aside and just give it a go! The pattern is well written. I like the final look of the piece. Bravo for the free pattern!
