I love that this was originally designed for Operation Christmas Child. Ive seen TV footage of children receiving the boxes and how thrilled they are to be remembered. It just so happens that I am writing this on Giving Tuesday, a day set aside to donate to charity rather than buy gifts. Its too late for this year, but Ill start setting aside some time each week to work on these for next years collection. We have several churches in our neighborhood who participate in the program.

Wow. I love the bold and bright colors used for this little purse. I always like to have a smaller purse / bag inside my usual daily purse. Sometimes when I just need to run in to a business or restaurant for a few minutes and dont need everything from my larger purse I just want to be able to grab a mini purse and take care of business. This would work great for that. This would even be cute for a pencil / pen / marker case or cell phone protector for the kids to use in their backpacks.

This is too easy not to make. It doesn't take much yarn either so you can make it up quickly and in expensively. I have an online store where I make and sell crochet items, mainly purses and these are very popular. Try making it all in black with a big silver or gold button. Very classy.
