Ive worked a few projects that call for zippers, and this project has one of the best photo tutorials on how to attach the zipper. This project basically uses the same technique in ordinary sewing, i.e. installing the zipper between two flat pieces of fabric. Shes also spot on about cutting longer zippers down to size and whip stitching to secure the ends. This is a great way to recycle zippers, too.

My favorite part about this pattern is her son's use of his pouch. So cute- he uses it for his Paw Patrol figurines. I cannot tell you how indispensable a pouch like this would be for moms and dads alike. Road trips, beach trips, trips to Grandmas... Easy to work up on any weeknight when you want o knock out something quick and feel like you've accomplished something.
