Tulip Stitch Afghan Square

"This lovely Tulip Stitch Afghan Square is available as a free crochet pattern in 5 different sizes. A photo tutorial is also available to show you how to crochet this stitch pattern. This version of the Tulip Stitch pattern is worked in double crochet stitches, rather than single crochet stitches. The pattern works up quickly and creates a pretty finished square. This will also work for blankets and other items. If you’d like to make a pretty and feminine hat with this stitch, I have also created a free pattern in 11 sizes using the Tulip Stitch. It is linked in the post and a video tutorial is also available. The hat is worked in rounds but the video will demonstrate how the Tulips are created using a popcorn stitch - if you prefer videos. I really love this pretty and feminine stitch pattern. I hope you find the pattern and tutorial easy to follow."

This is so pretty. I love these popcorn stitches made into tulips. It is such an easy stitch but yields such an extraordinary piece of work. I know I have some yarn that I can practice this square today. I am excited about this project.

I from time to time will find a project or post that I get all excited about. This is one of those posts. I love this tulip stitch afghan square. The directions included show that these squares can be made in four to 12 in squares. Not to get ahead of myself but I have a vision on what to do with these beautiful tulip stitch afghan squares. I hope to post the final project.

What an amazing Tulip Stitch Afghan Square!! Sooo beautiful and so dainty. The shade of pink used for the petals is just the right shade. Not too dark and not too light. Perfect! I was doing a similar project but I misplaced it, I don't know where I placed it.

This Tulip Stitch Afghan Square is quiet interesting. There is so much info on how to make this that it takes all the guess work out of it. She went way above to show how to do this stitch and I applaud her creativity! I'm looking forward to trying this one, even though i'm not a big fan of making squares, I think I can just make a larger one for a lap afghan. Thank you for sharing this free crochet Tulip Stitch Afghan Square pattern.
