My Scots heritage seems to draw me to all things plaid, but I know Ive overlooked projects as simple as these. Its amazing what effects can be created by just moving the colored blocks around. This piece is one of the easiest as its simple squares worked into strips. If youve ever pieced quilt blocks, you wont have any problem with this project!

What a smart looking blanket for that twin size bed! I can see making two of these for a bunk bed one in the black/tan/white combo and one in a navy/tan/white combo. She has simplified how a plaid or tartan is assembled and worked up. I like simple! I also like beautiful -) A great man cave option or something to keep at the cabin at the lake.

This Neutral Plaid Afghan looks nice and cozy and it'll be one I might be able to do while watching tele. Oh! I see soooo many possibilities with this one...red and green and white for the holidays or your favorite sports team colors. The color combinations with this yarn is incredible!
