Flower Burst

search

"This pattern was inspired by my Large Flat Flower Motif. Ever since I created it, I’ve wanted to make a square using it as the center. This seemed like the time. I love the colors and the final look. It would be great for a blanket as a square you repeat, or as part of a sampler blanket. You could even make a table runner with a string of them. Enjoy this easy and pretty floral square!"

My senior ladies are always eager for new Granny Square patterns, and this is a beauty. Its great for teaching new skills since it transitions from a circle to a square, but still looks exactly like youd expect from a Granny. Since the finished project is 12 inches square, it can be used as an afghan block or by itself as a pillow cover.
