"Beautiful modern throw with a simple pattern repeat in large stripes which will keep you engaged all the way to the end. The stripes can be made in many different color combinations but the gray and white combo will match almost any home decor. Soft worsted weight yarn gives the blanket body, but the open v-stitch sections make it a lighter weight blankets. This is an interesting afghan. It appears with the color change, the crochet design also changes. Within the stitches of grey, it appears as if there are subtle color changes as well. The yarn is selling as a solid so that is interesting in itself.

I am always curious as to how a projects gets its name. Still not sure why this is called Coco but I still like it. These colors would work well in my guest room to lay out on the foot of the bed. Using anything white on a regular basis in my house is a no no still. Thanks for the free pattern .

We loved the movie Coco so I was hoping this throw would be as colorful as the movie. I was a bit disappointed with the gray tones. If Im going to work this up, Ill need a lot more colors than these two. One of the best things about that movie was the wealth of bright colors, so Im planning to use as many as I can, including an orange to honor the calendula on the offrenda.
