"Having my own yarn line has always been my dream. When Red Heart gave me the opportunity for that dream to come true I was elated. Now that I have my dream I wanted to make your crochet dreams come true with this beautiful corner-2-corner heirloom Chic Sheep Day Dream Blanket. Choose the color place of your choice, or use the pattern I used, and play around with all 24 colors of Chic Sheep. Chic Sheep by Marly Bird is 100% Merino Wool. This means that it is machine washable and dryer safe! Not only is it easy to maintain but it is an absolute dream to use in accessories and garments. Having this yarn snuggled up against your skin feels so good. Using this yarn to make a blanket was a no brainer. This is a FREE pattern on the MarlyBird.com website, but Ive made it available here as an ad free version for those of you who prefer that. However, it will always be FREE on the website if you want to make the blanket without having to pay for it (your payment comes in the form of visiting my website)"

NotesBlanket is worked in a diagonal from corner to corner.

All right side (odd numbered rows) are worked from top right to bottom left, and all wrong side (even numbered rows) are worked from bottom left to top right.

If I felt like undertaking a project that would be a long tern project for me, then this would be a good choice. It has a lot of detail in the pattern because of all the random colorblocking that is done. It blows my mind even thinking about how she was able to construct this pattern and present it to us in a way that we can understand and not feel overwhelmed by it. Wow, is all I can say! How fun to be able to buy into each of the wonderful colors in the yarn line.
