I would love to try this, but it is a royal pain to even get the "free" pattern from the linked website. I will figure out the pattern on my own.

A mesh project is light weight and is usually made as an accessory. This weekend mesh lace cowl is just that, a beautiful accessory. Photos are provided in the directions and the written directions flow along with them. This is a great beginner pattern because you just repeat the rows. This can be an accessory for all seasons depending on the color and yarn weight you select.

Mesh is one of those basic fabrics that every crafter should learn how to work up. There are so many projects that include some sort of mesh, even if only as an accent. The challenge is controlling the yarn and tension so you consistently get an even texture where all the openings are a single size. This is the perfect practice project, and at the end, you still have a light, lovely scarf.

This Easy Summer Mesh Lace Cowl would be perfect in autumn and winter when you do not feel like having too much around your neck. A little goes a long way. That is what I see in this pattern. It is easy and cozy. Id wear this under my jacket or coat.

I have visited the Jenny and Teddy blog many times before now. They have such a great blog and great patterns. They are all so contemporary and the instructions are so easy to follow. Love the shade of yellow that she cose for this beginner cowl. What an awesome piece for a beginner to complete.

How bright and sunny is this mesh lace cowl? What an absolutely perfect accessory when the winter is finally drawing to a close and you are just dying for spring to arrive. You just put this on to pray the cold away. I am here to tell you that yes, this type of stitch is VERY easy and beginner friendly. I use this stitch quite a bit myself. I am loving the yellow cotton yarn, too!
