Good idea. Big buttons then crocheted with a flower design to make it decorative. Very creative, very artistic.

Isnt it amazing what you can do with found objects and a little imagination? This is a simple project that is fully illustrated, so its easy to follow along. The designer suggests using a small crochet hook to draw the yarn through the holes on the button, but if you dont have a suitable hook, I have a suggestion. Do you remember those inexpensive wire needle threaders? The ones with the silver coin on them? Those would work just as well if not even better.
