Peace on Earth Crochet Angel

"I have designed the Peace on Earth Angel Pattern for you to crochet. This Christmas Angel is crocheted with Red Heart Super Saver (medium weight) yarn; beginning at the top her head and worked in continuous rounds to the base of her skirt. You will add the wings to the back of her dress using simple whip-stitches at the end, crochet the ‘arm’ and simply insert it through the small holes in her dress you created by following the crocheting instructions and slip the crocheted halo between the stitches at the back of her head. This Angel stands on her own and she does not need to be ‘stiffened’. Her halo is designed with a thin bow wire I purchased at Michael’s (our local craft store) so it holds its shape and stays in place easily."

Easy

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

There are so many details to the little crochet angel. Reading over the directions there are a lot of them. The difficulty level shows easy but I am apprehensive about that. I see that others have made these and no posts about issues creating the angel. So I guess if I take the time and try this I will be able to make it as well.

This Peace on Earth Crochet Angel was so interesting to make. The pattern was easy to follow and the stitches made up a nice looking angel. The hardest thing for me on making this was the halo. I only had a thin gold thread, but I made it work. There are some really nice pictures to help with the wings and the wing placement. I hope my picture loads because I really like this crochet Angel. Thank you so much for sharing this free angel crochet pattern.

Ive made several of this designers other crocheted angels, so I was thrilled to find she had posted another one for this year. I downloaded the free .pdf as usual, but when I did, it seemed trigger autoplay for an instructional video. It wasnt even for this project, and I couldnt close the window until the video had finished playing. I always download her patterns, so I have no idea why it triggered the video this time.

This is so detailed and beautiful! It would make a great homemade gift. I'd love to have a few to place all around the house during the holiday months.
