"These cute little boots are crochet with medium worsted weight yarn (2 strands together) or using bulky yarn to create a nice thick sturdy boot. Very cute, warm and the front post double crochet really gives it a great texture! Sizes range from newborn to toddler, just change your hook size! I would recommend for toddler sizes to put some puffy paint on the bottoms or spray with a clear plasti-dip to prevent slipping. The pattern is written is many different sizes based on the hook size."

Easy

Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook, I/9 or 5.5 mm hook, J/10 or 6 mm hook, K/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

I love these adorable baby booties! I love that there are so many size options available with the free pattern. You could make a pair for all your kids! My sister is due with her first baby in October, and this would be such a great baby shower gift! I better get started if I want to have them ready for the shower!

Winter will be here before we know it, and these mukluk type booties are sure to come in handy. The designer provides instructions for sizes from Infant to Toddler (about age 4) and your choice of hook size will depend on the size bootie you want to make. She does advise that the sizing was based on Red Heart Super Saver yarn, and that you will be working two strands together, but Bulky yarn will also work.
