What an adorable baby cardigan. It will almost be a shame when your little special girl outgrows it. This could become one of those homemade projects that gets passed down to the new baby girl in the family.

Just trying to find the start of a the pattern was a challenge for me. lol. I read over the directions and even with all of the pictures I would caution the true beginner that this will be a challenge. None the less, it is a unique cardigan and any little girls that loves color will be thrilled to wear it.

This is a bright, fun sweater! I could see doing different sleeves to make it for a boy, instead of the cap sleeves. Has anyone tried to modify the pattern for a boy? If so, how did it turn out? I would maybe use a more muted color combination, too, because I would not have my daughter wear this bright of a sweater. It makes me think of when I was younger and my mom made our clothes.
