Collar: 1st row: (RS). Join B with sl st at corner of Buttonhole band. Ch 1. Work 52 (54-56-60) sc evenly around neck edge to opposite corner. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each sc to end of row. Join MC. Turn.
3rd row: With MC, 1 sc in each hdc to end of row. Join A. Turn.
4th row: With A, ch 2. 1 hdc in each sc to end of row. Join B. Turn.
5th row: With B, as 3rd row. Join A.
6th row: With A, as 4th row. Join MC.
7th row: With MC, as 3rd row. Join B.
8th row: With B, as 4th row. Join A.
9th row: With A, as 3rd row. Fasten off.

front and collar edging: With RS facing, join B with sl st to bottom corner of Right Front. Working up Right Front, around Collar and down Left Front, proceed as follows:
1st row: *Ch 3. 3 dc in same sp as last sl st. Miss next 2 sc. Sl st in next sc. Rep from * to opposite bottom corner of Left Front, ending with sl st in last sc. Fasten off.
twisted cord: Cut 4 strands of B 80 ins [203 cm] long. With all strands tog, hold one end and with someone holding other end, twist strands to the right until they begin to curl. Fold the 2 ends tog and tie in a knot so they will not unravel. The strands will now twist themselves tog. Trim one end.
Pom-pom: (Make 2). Wind A around 3 fingers approx 90 times. Remove from fingers and tie tightly in center. Cut through each side of loops.
Trim to a smooth round shape.
Thread twisted cord through eyelets. Attach pom-poms to each end of cord.

Baby cardigans are the best. I love when a designer adds something a little special to make it just that much more appealing. The addition of the pompoms is just the magic touch with this cardigan. This is just adorable.

Aww, with or without the pom poms on this baby cardigan there is no way you can go wrong. I just adore the colors selected. This will surely be one of those articles that gets handed down and get a lot of wear. Beautiful.

I can't see the instructions for the collar! I guess I pick up the stitches and keep going until it looks right.
