As the saying from Forrest Gump goes, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get" this Crochet Box of Chocolate guarantees all the sweetness without the sugar. The crochet box is perfect as a Valentine's Day gift idea. You could even skip making the crochet chocolates and add real chocolates instead. Although, the crochet food would be a lot healthier! You'll need a 4.5 mm hook and red worsted weight yarn for the box and chocolates as well as some fine weight yarn and a 3 mm hook for embroidering and edging.

A great amigurumi for grown-ups. I think your office mate will enjoy displaying this on her desk, without any concerns that someone else will eat them! There is something about tiny, small little food stuffs. It makes me want to shrink back into being a little girl. If nothing else, this is a fun way to use up a bunch of random yarn scraps from your stash. Colors don't matter, I don't think.

Wow! This is what you call labor of love. I thought it's only the box that's crochet but when I looked closely, even the contents of different flavored chocolate candies are crocheted. Whoa! Lovely!

Wow! Even the box is crocheted. This would be the perfect gift for the recipient that cannot have sugary treats and it would last a lifetime. What a creative idea.

This pattern is amazing! It would make the perfect gift for someone who does not eat chocolates (which is no one I know!) I love things like this that are out of the ordinary. I will have to gather some scraps and try this out soon! I would never think of something like this on my own.

We have several small county fairs in our area and nearly all of them have craft entries. In addition to the usual baby sets and afghans, theres also a section for miscellaneous crochet crafts. This box of chocolates will be perfect because Ive noticed that the quirky things usually win! Im going to pair it up with one of the other boxes of chocolates Ive found on here and double my chances!

This is just down right adorable. I know someone I just have to make it for. My brother is a diabetic and I want to send him this with some money inside so he can get himself some of the real thing in a sugar free variety . I know he will like it.
