Crochet Geometric Crop Top
Crochet Geometric Crop Top

From the blogger: "If you know how to make a simple granny square, then you’ll be able to make this crop top. It’s made with just two granny squares, and two half-squares (triangles). There is a lot of different options for this pattern. If you don’t want your top to be see-trough, just make a basic solid granny square for the front. The pattern is written for the size medium, but it’s easily adjustable for many other sizes. (Not recommended for bra sizes larger than DD!)

Notes: This pattern uses US terminology and these abbreviations:
sc – single crochet
ch – chain
slst – slip stitch
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
ML – magic loop/circle/ring

Graphs are also included :)"

I've been intrigued by these granny square tops for a little while now. They seem very straightforward in the design, and seem like they would be easy to re-size according to specific measurements... I am finding that that is the best way to crochet a garment that is meant to be semi-fitted and is not open in the front like a cardigan. I used to be kind of afraid to step in and try it but it is really easy and oh so helpful! I love this in the black but also think a square in rows of brights like hot pink, turquoise, and white would be so cool for the summertime.

I really love the rich color of this geometric crop top. I read over all of the directions and did not see the color of the fingerling yarn used. At any rate, the directions are really simple and hopefully my nice will appreciate this beautiful crop top. Summer is fast approaching and I think she will like it.

I see that crop tops are still popular. I have a few female relatives that have at least a couple of these. I know Simone would love to have one of these in her school colors. She is so fashion forward and I think that before the end of the year, I could have this made for her.

This is an adorable crop top! It would be a great top to throw on over your bikini when you're lounging on the beach. I also love the purple color of it.

Looking at the picture, this is a very sheer, very sexy crop top. This would be perfect to wear here in Florida while on vacation or any day if you live here like me. There isnt much of a dress code here. It would look great worn over a swimsuit top when you are spending time at the beach.
