"Here you can find a free crochet pattern for a cardigan. The pattern is very easy and only asks for half double crochet stitches and some single crochet stitches. However, mind you, it’s a very time consuming project! The body part is worked from left to right and the sleeves are worked in the round. The sleeves are sewn to the body part and the zipper can be attached using your crochet hook or a sewing machine."
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(5) Bulky/Chunky (12-15 stitches for 4 inches)
Finished SizeS, but you can change it to any size you want

The designer here really went out of her way here. She states this is the first project she completed and I almost find that unlikely but there are a few of us with a knack for crafts. I appreciate the pictures and all of the detailed notes but I do not believe that I would consider this project a beginner project.

It is possible I missed it but other than explaining in Body Part Row 1, I am not sure how to increase this so that it fits me. Although it is a beautiful cardigan, I think I will pass on this one.

Definitely should not be labeled as a beginners pattern. Adding a zipper is not an easy task and it requires sewing knowledge and access to a sewing machine. Some of the designers instructions and answers to others questions are pretty vague and dont help at all especially when she gives answers such as you can increase where you prefer, you can use as many stitches as you want.

Wow. What a lovely cardigan!. This Cardigan can be worn with any color of top or dress, any color of pants, or jeans. It looks so unassuming and laid back. It can be done in color you fancy, though.
