"This adult sized crochet poncho can be worked up in a weekend and is so very easy! It only uses 2 rectangles, some seaming, and the simplest tassel style fringe you've ever seen! It is a great project for those still new to the craft - very beginner friendly. It is the perfect size and weight - not too chunky but soft, breezy, and warm. Pattern includes sizes XS-4XL womens. This is an easy level crochet pattern, and the techniques you will need to know are single crochet, double crochet, single crochet increase, Chain stitch, and slip stitch."
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge17 Dc = 4″

Wow! My favorite among this batch so far. This Ava Fringed Poncho looks very light, giving you enough cover for cool summer or spring evening. I like the color used here, the total poncho length and the sleeve length is just perfect. I will start this soon. Wow. I'm excited.

This is a great looking Poncho and it's a beginner pattern which is great! I so need to find the yarn used, I like to see and feel the yarn before I buy so I don't buy it on line. I wonder what store sells it? I like the simple stitches used for this Ava Fringed Poncho and the Fringe is so easy to do. I'm looking forward to making and wearing this one. I almost went past this post because I have seen a zillion poncho patterns. Glad I took the time to take a look. Notice the soft drape of the poncho? It is achieved by the type of yarn used, Lion Brand Collection Cotton Bamboo yarn. If not to make this beautiful Ava Fringed poncho, I will be making a purchase of this yarn to make something with it.

With or without the fringe, this poncho is adorable. The photo of the up close of the neck line shows just how delicate this poncho is and I can only guess that that is attributed to the Lion Brand yarn used. I really like the Persimmon color.

This Ava Fringed Poncho is so sweet and unassuming. Perfect for white long, or cropped pants. Pink always look great with white. Perfect of a sweet daughter or niece.

She looks so pretty in pink, I tell you that much. I am SO glad that we get a real photo gallery of step by step/piecing together the poncho. Seriously, always the part that I seem to have trouble with, and one of the reasons why I shy away from pieced together ponchos like this one. I need to get my hands on some of that LB Bamboo yarn! I can feel the softness through my computer monitor.
