Finally!!!!! I have been looking all over for another Indian Corn pattern since the one in the ebook I downloaded no longer existed. These are just perfection. Each cob is worked in a spiral which is EXACTLY how real corn grows (its actually a Fibonacci sequence). Even the dried husks look passably real. I love all the colors, too. The Blood Red and Blue Flint varieties are some of my favorites.

Just a few more months and it will be time to start thinking about Fall decorating. The blog that designed this pattern has a lot of useful information on it and not just about crocheting. It touches on a lot of different subjects. The indian corn project would excellent for teachers to use in their rooms.

I tried making a similar looking thing last year and for some reason, I just could not get it to come out right. It kept ending up looking like a pine cone. I finally gave up on it. I just read thru the directions on these and I think I can do this one. I am giving it another try. Thanks for posting.
