Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge1 complete chevron (12sts) and 5 rows = 3 ½”

This Winter Waves Chevron Cowl for Toddlers will great not only on toddlers but also on adults like us. The colors used here are not the usual basic colors which is great for teenagers. Earth colors would also look great for any age group.

Im not a huge fan of the Ripple/Chevron pattern, but since this cowl is worked across the short rows rather than the long, its hardly even noticeable. In this case, the Chevrons just look more like interesting vertical stripes. This project is worked flat and then sewn together, and if youre interested, there is a matching hat (or slouchie if you prefer) available in a range of sizes.
