Super Scarf Crochet Pattern

"This scarf was inspired by a trip to Rome, and you’ll want to say ciao right away. It’s soft and elegant, just the beautiful addition your closet’s been missing. You’ll work this scarf flat, back and forth until you reach the size you want. Since it’s a super scarf, you’ll want to reach super size. It also calls for a super bulky weight of yarn so you can really get that thick texture. This scarf is super simple to make, and looks great with just about any outfit that needs an extra touch."

NotesThis piece is worked flat, back and forth in rows from the bottom up. Turning chain counts as a stitch. Row 2 is worked into the stitches of the previous row. With the exception of the last dc in Row 3, all other dcs are worked into the spaces created by the chains- NOT into the chain links. Multiples are 4 + 3.

Im not overly fond of Super Scarves as Im short, so theyre not exactly in proportion to my height. I do like the texture pattern of this one, so Im perfectly willing to modify it to fit me. There also seems to be a bit of confusion over exactly how much yarn is required. The title says one skein, but the very first line of the instructions says to use six skeins of Super Bulky #6.

Yeah, eleven inches in width is pretty wide for a scarf, not to mention the massive 123 inches in length you will get. I gotta tell you, I love these super scarves! Not bad, requiring just six skeins of your choice of super bulky yarn. I am positive this is one of those "get it done in a long weekend" projects because of the yarn and the hook size used.
