Skill: Easy Materials: Crochet hook – H/ 5MM Yarn – Weight Yarn (4) Cotton works great as well Yarn Needle Stitches: Chain (ch) Single Crochet (ch) Half Double Crochet (hdc) Slip Stitch (slst) Change to (chgto) Size: 12 Donuts make a 54 inch scarf. Each Donut is about 4 ½ inches Make as many donuts as you need for the length you want."

NotesThis pattern works great for donut coasters. Just use cotton yarn.

One of my favorite things about Sara is that she never takes herself seriously. We all need a bit of silliness in our lives, and her amazingly creative designs always make me smile. This scarf is a great scrapbuster, too, since you can make the donuts and sprinkles any colors you want. I love her idea of using them individually as coasters, too. Watch the videoyou wont be disappointed!

First off, can I say that I WISH I had her craft room and all her stash! Wow! She's got a bunch more donut themed yarn crafts listed at the bottom of her page that I really like. I'd like to attempt the donut hot pads! And the coasters are another one. This scarf is simply adorable and so creative. Check out the Loops THreads Impeccable for you donut colors. They've got some real bright, fun, and vivid color choices.

I know what you mean about that craft room. I've threatened my poor husband this I might need to build one myself. I never seen to have enough room for crafts and yarn.
