"A beautiful volumetric pattern for crocheting a cozy cowl. The pattern works in a circles. We join each row. Another feature of this pattern is that the crocheting passes through the turning rows. And you can experiment with the pattern, such as crochet not turning rows or instead of 4 double crochets work 3 or 5, and you can also work treble crochets (tr). In the tutorial I will show how to crochet such a cowl in one color. And for example, I worked a sample with 2 colors yarn. The number of colors is not limited, try your options. I’m sure you’ll like it!"

I am so grateful for all of the pictures and the video tutorial for this zig zag puff cowl. I would have loved to see this item modeled as well. To me it just does not look large enough to be a cowl.

This crochet technique yields a beautiful texture. The design is easily seen in just the white of the cowl but when you add the blue, the design really pops out. I would love to have this in a much larger item such as an afghan. I guess the only thing you would have to do is to just increase the number of rows across.

Oh wow I love the look of this Shells and Zig-Zag Puff Cowl. There is a nice video and a chart plus pictures showing how to do this. I have saved this one and will be coming back to make it. I love different designs and this one is great! Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet cowl pattern.

Im just like a magpie, but instead of being fascinated by shiny objects, Im automatically drawn to any project with a distinct texture. Theres an embedded video and international symbol chart, but I actually found it easier to follow the step by step photo tutorial. This is designed to be a cowl but since its worked in the round, it would be very easy to add some stitches and make a matching hat as well.

i would love a pattern for different light houses. i see that you have a large selection of beach items which is wonderful
