I have to admit that I still love pom poms. I was a cheerleader in high school and our pom poms were more like streamers. The current poms look more like these little puffs of yarn. So, needless to say I am partial to this pretty in pink angled scarf because of the poms. They remind me of a happy time in my youth.

You peaked my interest at Pink. Pink is one of my favorite colors and I just had to look at the directions to the pretty in pink angles scarf to see if I wanted to make one for myself. The skill level states easy but there are 160 rows of directions. I tend to have trouble with directions like these. I have to admit this is an adorable scarf with those cute little pom poms but I may have to save this to the files for a later time.

I have said this once and I'll say it again. I have got to get my hands on one of these pompom makers. Recently, I tried making one by hand to top off a slouchy beanie (gift will be for my aunt for Christmas) and it was an epic fail. I felt like I wasted a ton of yarn! I am intrigued by this pompom maker. I have seen it on youtube tutorials and it looks like a whole lot of fun! This jazzy pink triangle scarf is worked from the center point out, over the course of 133 (!) rows.

Very playful, this Pretty in Pink Angled Scarf because of those cute pom poms on each end. This can only be worn on casual, sporty days, for going to the mall but not formal events.

I see that this pattern is part of a scarf of the month CAL. I am late to the party since this actually started in January of this year and there were two different scarf patterns for each month and this scarf was part of the July CAL. I would have guessed October since October is breast cancer awareness month and everything turns to pink then. This scarf is just like its name Pretty in Pink.
