What a great set of patterns! For my grand daughter I will be using a varigated yarn I cannot get more of alternating with either white or one of the colors in the yarn for both pieces. For my great nephew I will be making a hat in the colors he raids out of my yarn stash! I also think I will use this pattern for this years contribution to my local librarys mitten tree drive that they have every Christmas.

I really do love the color combination chosen for this hat and scarf set. Bright colors are my fave! What colors would everyone else choose?
