This Handy Scarf does not appeal to me because it looks weird.Maybe if the hands are not there, it's fine. I like the stitches used in the body of the scarf.

What a fun and cute scarf this Handy Scarf is.. I love it and so want one! After reading the written pattern it is well written and easy to understand and doesn't sound so hard to make. I like that there is a tutorial for the slip stitch join that is well done. I've never seen one before, but so easy. I can't wait to make my own. Has anyone made this? How did yours turn out? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet scarf pattern.

This is a cute idea for a novelty scarf. I cant even count how many gloves and mittens Ive clipped to kids coats, only to inevitably have at least one disappear between home and the bus stop. This clever homage uses two strands of yarn worked together so it will work up quickly. I love that its a Keyhole scarf, too. One of my favorite styles since it looks like a scarf but works like a cowl.

Let me be the first to comment on the sheer cuteness factor of this mitten scarf. May I say that the design itself is truly a one of a kind. I have never seen anything like it out there! I love the white scarf with the classic red mittens accenting the ends. Great for your kiddo, male OR female, I think! Just lovely!
