To make this a true beginner crochet pattern, use a single color or use fewer colors. Each time you change the color presents a new issue (hide the strings / ends to weave in) The project is not hard at all but the multiple color changes are something to consider if you are a true beginner.

This Granny Stripe Crochet Scarf is a great beginner project. I love granny anything. I am not so crazy about the way the designer wrote the instructions, but I love it just the same. Thank you for the free crochet scarf pattern.
