Bobble stitch crochet has never looked better than in this eye-catching Jute Bobble Stitch Bubble Basket. The bubble-like appearance gives the crochet basket pattern a great round shape, and the jute material throws some interesting texture into the mix. This cute basket can be used to organize your home, carry supplies, or even house your regular yarn! If you're nervous about using jute, don't worry—this is an easy crochet pattern, and if the material feels more rough than you're used to, you can always take breaks or apply a protective layer of lotion before you start. However you do it, this project is a great way to experiment with other mediums besides yarn.

I have made several patterns of my own using jute and it can be quite uncomfortable to work with. I found that sometimes using a strand of yarn with it helps somewhat. It also gives a nice colour variation to your piece. The nice thing about using jute is that it gives you a strong finished project that will stand the test of time and will hold its shape better than typical yarn will.
