This is too cute! My best friend loves turtles, so I think I will make her some of these for her birthday! The pattern is so easy to follow, you could make these quickly if you are in a pinch. I think I will use green instead of yellow when I make these.

I saw this pattern, and immediately thought about my many grandsons. Most of them are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans, and by adding a small colored bandana across the turtles head, you can make it whichever hero youd like. Or swap out the green for some bright, funky colors for a psychedelic turtle. Lots of possibilities with this one.

I have been scouring the internet for turtle or more specifically sea turtle coaster patterns. This is one of the nicer, more realistic ones I have come across. I like the design element of the contrast color dividing each section of the turtle's shell. I also like the understated colors used overall. THank you for the free download!

Oh now this is just too cute. I just had an idea, which could be good or bad. If I make two of these and line them and stuff that when sewn together I can have a very cute pin cushion. It will be different and practical and look so neat setting out in my craft room. Thanks for inspiring me.
