Dragonfly Coasters

search

"Here’s another dragonfly pattern! These playful coasters are so sweet with a dragonfly in the center. I made them in all different colors for fun but they would look great all in one color too. And, because each one only requires approximately 12 yards for the body and about 7 yards for the border, they are great stash-busters too! I added a very simple edging but they would look great with a crab stitch or even a lacy edge too! Approximately 4.5” x 4.5” Designed in worsted weight cotton yarn"

Easy

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Finished Size4.5" square

Coasters are a way of adding a touch of class to any setting. I know the purpose is to protect the furniture but sometimes, mostly in my case, they are part of the decor when I invite friends over. I love the vibrant colors used by the designer.

We all collect things and my Mother in law collects coasters. When I run across a new design, I make her a set of four. She has so many now, I purchased her a storage box to keep them in when not in use, lol.

I love anything that will go on my patio for the summer. These are just great. I have lady bugs and butterflies so this will fit right in with all of them. They are very easy to make and don't take much yarn and go right into the washer when they get dirty!

Oh how cute, and a must make for my dragonfly collection. I love the dragonfly, and have been crocheting a baby blanket of dragonfly. Now I can make these cute Dragonfly Coasters to have one hand. The written pattern is well written and so easy to make. If you love the dragonfly like I do, scroll down her page to see so many more dragonfly patters. Thank you so much for this free crochet coaster pattern.

I have a butterfly hat pattern that I just love to make, so I was immediately drawn to these delicate coasters. Its such a clean design that will go with just about any dcor. I know what Ill be working on while watching TV tonight! Very thrifty with the yarn, too. BTW, ermshartopaz, I didnt have any problems going to the site either. Might have been a temporary hack.
