Hot Water Bottle Cosy

"Cold feet in winter... I really don't like it. That's why my hot water bottle has been my best friend in winter, for years now. But a rubber hot water bottle isn't exactly nice to lay your feet against. My mum would alwas wrap my hot water bottle in a pillow cover, but I figured that I can do much better than this. That's why I designed this hot water bottle cosy with a lovely chunky yarn. It's a quick project too. Great for last-minute gift making!"

Does anyone even use hot water bottles any more? I remember the old red rubber one my mom used when we were children, and I would have loved a cover on that thing. About the best she could come up with was one of my Daddys clean tee shirts! Now I use homemade rice bags, so this would be a step up from the fuzzy sock I use to cover mine. Speaking of homemade, I love that ribbon!

This would make such a cute idea whether for Christmas and during the cold winter months or for any occasion if the recipient is in need of this kind of item. I know several people who would love to get this because they use hot water bottles regularly.
