"Mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning circle. They can be used for decoration or pillow covers. One lady mentioned turning it into a tire cover and another mentioned using them between her non stick pans.   • US G6/4.00mm hook to work up butterfly bodies.

This is absolutely one of my favorite mandala designs ever. I also take refuge in my crochet, so I appreciate this designers generosity in posting this pattern. It is a shame that shes had some of her designs stolenI just dont understand why someone would do that! Be sure to watch the short embedded video as she demonstrates how to magically form the little butterflies!
