"This simple cap is worked in rounds from the top down and then finished in rows in one solid piece. Quick to crochet, excellent as gifts and donation projects this cap is made with medium weight yarn. The edging on the hat covers the ears and is fitted and slightly shorter around the nape of the neck. This hat style is a modern interpretation of the traditional earflap hat. Optional ties can be added and instructions have been included."
Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge3 stitches and 2 rows = 1 inch

This is a great hat for the man or men in your life. There are nottoo many gender specific hats for guys out there. That is not to say that a woman cannot wear this! But it is nice to get a guy's hat pattern for a change. A great budget-friendly hat in that it uses Red Heart Super Saver.
