Invisible Join for SLIP STITCH:
-
Weave the yarn tail under both loops of the starting slip stitch, and then back through the center of the last slip stitch made. Pull the tail just tight enough so that it looks like the other stitches.
Gathering the Front Rows:
-
Cut a piece of yarn about 12” long and locate the center of the hat. Thread the yarn between two stitches on the first HDC row and through one of the slip stitches on the last row, loosely gather the rows together in pleats and tie a secure knot.

It has been a minute since I have heard the word turban. When I think of turban, I think of the head gear that my Grandmother would wear. This is not my grandmothers turban though. I love the little flower at the front. It adds a lot more style instead of just being gathered in the front.

With all the size options available for the "Textured Turban" pattern, you could really make your entire family the same turban. Wouldn't it be awesome in a winter red, and every baby, girl, and woman wears this for a family portrait? So cute! the little girl wearing it above looks very happy -)

I love the fact that this particular pattern comes in different sizes and that they are separate. I have done the patterns before that have the other sizes in parentheses () but always messed up the pattern. By forgetting if I was using the first set for the second. Plus, this is a really, Really, REALLY cute pattern!
