Wow, this hat just radiates the season that is Fall. The colors are spot on. Pattern instructions are very well presented and are very easy to understand. The pattern is rated intermediate because of some of the stitches used but these are not difficult to master if you practice on a swatch before you begin.

What a great idea for using up your scraps/stash of yarn. The only problem I always seem to have, is I never seem to have enough of one specific type of yarn weight to use. If someone can suggest how I can intermix different weights of yarn into one project, please let me know. I would not of course mix a bulky with a DK, but rather stick to at least yarns of similar weight and type. The front post and back post double crochets are what make that really cool faux knit cable look!
