I love this winter beanie for the type of yarn used, the color combination and the stitches used. The yarn used is the type that will give enough warmth and protection during the really cold month. Your head will have enough cover from the cold.

I subscribe to Tamaras blog and have no earthly idea how I managed to miss this project! That sent me on a hunt for the matching cowl, and not only did I find that but also matching fingerless mitts. After all the holiday projects are finished, Im working up this set for myself and starting with the beanie. Thank you so much for finding these wonderful projects.

I really love the neutral colors and stitch pattern used for this hat. Even so, it would still be cute in a solid color or even more than two different colors. I love hat patterns like this that are a little more challenging than just a normal double crochet hat. I also love thw fur pom pom.

I love, love, love the intricate details of this beanie, but it's an easy pattern!? I can't wait to try this pattern over Thanksgiving break, I'm sure I could whip up several and cross several gifts off my list!
