Boy and I really glad I ran across this post. I almost did not stop to take a look. I just saw a post for a market bag with this same crochet pattern. Now this would probably be more practical for me.

This is really pretty. I can see the "Gemstone" in this pattern. Using the Red Heart Unforgettable Yarn makes it much easier to see this wonderful texture but I could also see it in a solid color as well. This will be perfect to hold up all of my locks.

This slouchy beanie with all the teal, purple, and blue shades would make a blonde haired girl look even more amazing! I am very impressed with the look of this hat. Yes, it is an intermediate level pattern, but it is not a BIG project, you know? It is just a hat. So, I say, go ahead and give this one a try!

The designer at the Lavender Chair never disappoints me with her creative ideas. This gorgeous slouchie is a perfect example. This is not an Easy pattern, but the results are well worth it. Be advised that while the instructions are clearly written there arent any accompanying photos. She also warns in her Notes that the pattern requires Slip Stitches in unusual places, so read the instructions carefully.

The pattern is not free

Hi there, Yes, this pattern is free. The designer is giving you the option to purchase a downloadable PDF version of the pattern, but if you scroll down just a little you'll see the pattern text. I hope that helps! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet
