Oh my gosh! I am looking at an exact replica of the real Spongebob Squarepants! How in the world did she manage to do this and make it look so exactly alike?! I applaud her for that. I am sure she worked hard on perfecting her design. It is not that hard to do, just by reading over the pattern. Probably the most difficult part would be the addition of the facial features and tying on and attaching all that. If you have the patience, then go for it!

Spongebob is still going strong. I can remember when the character first debut. My boys were still young and at home. They would have loved to have this.

Is this project Crochet Bob the Square Sponge Hat not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Had I been a crocheter during the beginnings of the adorable cartoon character, my boys would have had all things Crochet Bob as he was a favorite to watch. The details are what make this project.

RepeatCrafterMe is one of my favorite blogs and Im always happy to see one of Sarahs patterns featured on AllFreeCrochet. She has such fun ideas, and always provides loads of photos along with her patterns. You can make this hat for Sponge Bob fans of any age, too. Since this is based on her Robot hat, be sure to check out that pattern as well.
