I like boho, but I am unfamiliar with the word or term Tam. I love that yarn that was used for this hat. I would love to get free yarn from Wool and the Gang. I have been wanting to try it for a while, but it is just a little bit too pricey for my wallet that is empty. It turned out great.

These loose tam style hats are among my favorites. Im not sure I can find the specific type of yarn the designer describes, but I expect that any sort of chunky yarn would probably work as well. The trickiest stitches are the Post stitches, and while she does explain how to work them, there is only one link to a video tutorial. Ive made several projects from this designer and have never been disappointed.

This would be darling with your denim jackets and blue jeans. The yarn really does look like you ripped up a pair of well worn jeans and created yarn from it- then decided to whip up this hat! This is definitely a ha for both men and women alike. There are quite a few special stitches used in it , though. So be aware and have confidence!
