"This cute crochet set with have your little one saying, “Mama Mia!” Perfect for your Mario and Luigi fan! The set works up fast and uses medium worsted weight yarn. The pattern is written for a small child size (ages 3-5) but can be easily adjusted by taking away row 4 for a smaller hat or adding another increasing row (dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next) for row 5, for a larger hat. The mitten pattern comes in multiple sizes. You will need a size I and size H crochet hook. Enjoy the free patterns!"

About four years ago my sister asked if I could make a Mario hat for her grandson. I didnt have a pattern, so I had to cobble together what I could find. I sure wish I had found this project because it would have made my life a lot less froggy. This is a cute set, and I didnt even think about adding the mittens.
