Elizabeth Stitch Fingerless Gloves

"These fingerless mittens are easy quick to make, taking only an hour or two to complete. They are the perfect accessory to complete any outfit. With the holidays on the way, they also make a thoughtful handmade gift to give to your friends and family. These make perfect texting gloves. This pattern is also quite adaptable – experiment with different yarns and colors. So grab a skein of soft, pretty yarn and start on your fingerless crochet pattern this weekend."

SO I just gave this Elizabeth stitch a try for the first time. It is really neat! You just crochet right back into the same stitch, pull up a loop and yarn over, then complete it by pulling through all four loops on the hook. I bet that it would be great for a sweater as the textural stitch would add a lot of interest and coziness!

I need another fingerless gloves pattern like summer needs more mosquitoes. But I am such a sucker for gloves with Rob stitching I just couldn't pass it by. I think it adds a very pretty touch. And to top all of that off, it's a very easy pattern. Thank you for sharing it.

I wasnt at all familiar with the Elizabeth Stitch (aka the Mini Bean) so I was very happy to see the designer include a link to her tutorial. Im a visual learner, but I find it much easier to follow a video tutorial than a strictly photo version. This glove is worked flat and then sewn together with a space left open for the thumb.
