I like these. I made a pair using this as a base. But adding a flower the same color as the yarn makes it blend in too much. So I dressed mine up a bit with beads and other embellishments. Check out the pictures I added for you to see what a crazy imagination can do.

These are very nice, but I have to admit I am very much looking forward to not needing any type of winter gear for a while! The designer gives nicely written instructions and distinguishes between the right an left hands (some patterns dont). There are also a number of options for the printable version of this pattern. The flower is an optional add on and not an actual part of the project.

In my personal opinion, there are a lot of fingerless mitts that are too bulky and get in the way of my daily activities. What I like about these is the slim profile, and the no-nonsense look to them. With the addition of the flower it adds that girly touch that I like. But I could even do without that, and the mitts would still look good. I like a sparkly yarn!
