These are cute. I bet my cats would have a ball playing with them. They would look cute sitting in their little bowl in the living room, and the cats could take them out when they wanted to play. I wouldnt use paint for the eyes though. I would just embroider the eyes and mouth instead.

craftedbyfox, I found the actual pattern by following the link to the website, but didnt subscribe. There is a Print Friendly button at the bottom of the page, but unfortunately, it IS print only and doesnt include a .pdf option, which is my preferred format. Also, Im not sure Id use even non-toxic puff paints on thesetoo tempting to nibble on.

After going round in circles clicking on the ravlry link and back again and subscribing to a mailing list I finally found the pattern, you need to scroll all the way down the page past the Amazon adverts for paint and finally you get to it. Once I found it the pattern is really simple to follow and works up quite quickly. I really like this idea and think it would make a fab 1st birthday or Christmas present as it is so unique and you could make a range of fish in different bright colours.
