I was a little ambivalent about including this beanie pattern, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked the idea of the button and tab. I tend to shy away from using buttons on infant items due to a possible choking hazard, but since these are specifically for tiny infants, that shouldnt be a problem. I would stress that the button should be tightly sewn on using either upholstery or embroidery thread for added safety.
