Simple and sweet, makes a great gift! Booties measure approx. 3.5″ in height. Pattern is made with bulky weight yarn or working 2 strands together of medium worsted weight yarn making this a quick project! Create a set with my matching baby hat pattern! Takes approximately 30 minutes a pair depending how fast you crochet."

I agree that there is no discerning look to the Delila booties that match it up with the beanie. However, that is okay with me. I appreciate the high top design. I know from experience that babies have a way of kicking off their little shoes pretty easily, so I think a design like this will work wonders.

This bootie pattern is supposed to be a match for her Delia hat, but aside from the color of the yarn, there arent any obvious similarities. The hat has a distinctive ribbing design but it is nowhere to be seen on the bootie. Ive seen plenty of other bootie projects with ribbing at the top, so it was surprising that this bootie didnt.

The perfect pair of baby booties to go with the matching baby hat that I found a few minutes ago. Since I am making the baby hat with the new yarn I bought today then I am absolutely going to make these easy booties to have a set in the bank for any future baby shower gifts that I may need.
